Make sure the cooling system is purged from air pockets, & that the fan is working.

have a pressure test done, could be a blown head gasket if it over heats that quick

Yes, so did it hold pressure? On a head gasket you would have white smoke coming out the exhaust when running, or oil getting into the cooling system or vise versa, coolant getting into the oil pan. What you could do would be a compression test on all the cylinders. One or more cylinders with low compression would help determine a bad head gasket, along with the pressure test on the cooling system.

I had a similar over heating issue on a 2002 Deville DTS. I finally realized that the problem was the belt for the water pump wasn't turning the pump fast enough. The tensioner pully had a bad bearing. I wasn't able to determine the problem until the bearing completely seized up. the friction melted the plastic around the bearing then popped the belt. After replacing the pully and belt it completely stopped overheating.
