Oil does not flow right, i was told

are you checking for pressure because of a light or message. like the previous person said and is there oil in the motor for it to flow

Check for pressure? It's got oil I know the original prob. Was it say to long 2 years in the lake Tahoe heat and snow apparently the engine and tranny had to come out and now it's oil does not make it to top of engine. I am taped out of cash for it as I put more into it than when I bought! It's got a tap sound like no oil in. I of course don't drive it. It's seriously bran new . It's been in the shop for almost 2 years as well. Is it possible he did a over haul on engine I can get any info. or paperwork from him.
