Wont turn off

My Cadillac Escalade
ext2003 will not turn off.

Roller inside column is broken or ignition sw is trash.if the key has no resistance when turned to off position then column needs work. On this model youll need use all electrical componenets or youll have a no start condition.

Umm I have questions with my truck 2003 Cadillac Escalade ext while I trun on the engine for while the key is on both same time engine also we drove around about few min then arrive parking was off the key remive bit the engine is in and how that possible won't trun off while the engine is on with out key I request front hood and took battery tone of it stop running where it come from can you help me and explain how ???
