2002 ford focus sedan automatic transmission

Asked by Jun 19, 2017 at 02:10 PM about the 2002 Ford Focus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A friend is currently trying to shift her car into reverse, and doesn't have to
push the little button on the shifter to go from drive to reverse. The car
does not seem to leave neutral. I drove it the other day and I would
accelerate no problem up to 50 mph, but then it would stop accelerating
and just rev up until I stopped, put it in park, then back to drive. HELP!!!!
what's going on with this car?
