where is the fuse fore the check engine light

can't read the codes when you plug computer in probably need fuse

There is no specific fuse for the ALDL connector where you plug in your scanner. It is wired off of another circuit for power. A lot of times it is off the cigarette, or auxiliary circuit. Check to see what is not working in the car and look for a fuse for that circuit.
