the gear wont move to park from drive on my 2000 cadillac sts

the gear is in drive and won't move to park

check your shift line going from the driver's side firewall to the transmission top for why it siezed. ...if it is front wheel drive that is how to do it. i noticed it says 2005 sts on the car in question... 2 very different cars.
