My toyota corona shake when I put the AC on

Any time I try to use AC on my toyota corona 3s engine it
virbrate and shake and when I off it,it work ok,even if I start it it
shake b4 is stayable

The AC compressor might be going bad- if the clutch on the compressor gives out it could seize up throwing everything under the hood into a state of turmoil and confusion and chaos and other bad things- have a mechanic check it out ASAP- meanwhile maybe don't use the AC? just a thought
