2012 ford territory interior lights very dim When you open door , if you select the light it’s bright.

There is clear film flaking off the inside of the windows of a ford territory 2005. What is it? 3 Answers

The windows are tinted but the tint is on the outside. The flakes are clear and don't seem to be making any difference to the tint when scrapped off.
