ChevOpta 2005, Car Shaking,

Asked by Carol May 16, 2015 at 04:06 PM about the 2005 Chevrolet Optra

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I seem to have a leak in my carburetor, it looks like there is a 1/4 inch hose missing,
which is creating my car to shake in R,D or at consistent speeds.  I replaced, plugs and
wires, o2 sensors, the shaking stopped for awhile not while checking vacuum pressure
with starter fluid I found  an air leak, it looks like there should be a hose there, but I can't
find any hanging.

I have a Chevy Optra 04. There was a leak and the car was shaking too when the speed is at 40 and below. My husband tighten some bolts (I think it's the one connected to the ATF) and had the spark plugs replaced. The leaking and the shaking both stopped.
