my 2005 chev optra brake lights are staying on i was told it was the brake light switch. how do i find it and replace

2004, 2005 Optras had a recall for the brake switch. They were known to catch fire, but that was a minor few that that happened to. The brake switch is actually in front of the brake pedal arm
