Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have searched high and low for a 2 pin, no tube, fuel sending unit for a
1985 MGM. I was told that it was a discontinued item. Is there any other fuel
sending unit that will work. However, I did find that on classiquecars.com, the
fuel sending unit MAY work. I am not a mechanic. These are some of the
details that i found out about it.

1980 to 1987  LINCOLN Town Car with 5.0L (302)
fits:  1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987

Fuel Sending Unit
( 2 Pins, no tubes)
( code E0LF-9275-BA )
( in-tank gauge unit)
(for cars w/o digital instrument cluster)

Will this Fuel sending unit work? If not, can you point me in the right
direction?  Please and thank you.

attached you will find the picture of the top plate on the fuel sending unit that
I am needing to replace.
