Asked by Cynthia Jun 18, 2017 at 09:03 PM about the 2002 Ford Escape

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey guys so i was driving through back roads with a
lot of turns in the pouring rain. i have an old ford
escape with no grill on the front. suddenly my car
wouldn't speed up. the engine would work, when i
pressed on the gas it would go from 1 to 3 or
something but the speed meter would stay at 10
mph. it got to the point where my brakes locked.
does anyone know what could be the problem?
