A/T tranny swap

I would like to upgrade my 3spd A/T to a O/D  A/T. Does anybody no what will fit and what model years can be used ???

You can use a 84 thru 86 pickup/van/grand marquis or crown vic. But you will also need a steering colum with the linkage as well as the cross member and drive shaft. And those parts would have to be from a 84-86 pickup with the same wheel base for the drive shaft.

Would that be a C-6 I would be installing, no computers needed for the O/D, just linkage? - Thanks Steve
