I have a 1971 F100 with 302 running clean body and drives good , I have a offer to for a even trade for a 1965 mustang with 300 straight 6 clean body but needs all fluids drained to be ran .. My questions is it a good trade???

I would probably take the trade. Be aware that Mustang's did not come with a 300 6 so the engine is not original. Posting a photo of the truck would help though.

Would like to see a pic of the truck first... are you offering the truck or did someone offer the mustang? If your offering the the truck for the mustang, and you want a 'stang I would say go for it!! If someone is offering you that mustang for a nice running f100 and you are iffy about it... or it needs work don't do it. I would only take a trade for my f100 if it was equally as nice or equally mechanically sound.
