Agree with kelly,need more info,do you smell gas ect.ect.ect.

69 Ford with point type ignition? if so I would replace the points and condenser first as those are usually the first thing to go.

hello...............

No gas smell, but we replace the fuel pump and the pickup was sitting there for 15 yrs and everything was running good, engine was overhaul and new wires and plugs
