need to know where to find vin number on the frame?

A 1966 Ford pickup has the VIN stamped on the rating plate found on the drivers door jamb. It is also found on the title. Nothing mentioned about a VIN on the frame.

if my memory serves me right one i owned had one at top of rail foward of trans cross member, think pass. side and thin, use sandpaper, and your girlfriends makeup mirror , later ones were foward cab mount pass side
