I am trying to replace the automatic transmission kit in my 2000 Tj magna. The kit came with an incorrect pan gasket. Any clue why it would be different that the spare parts catalogue%3F%0A%0A

The Mitsubishi TJ Magna came standard with a 4 speed Auto, is your car fitted with the optional 5 speed Auto. also what is the Model, is it either one of the following: Executive, Sports or Verarda.

Its possible they sold you a kit for the late 90s 4cyl cars.TE,TF. If the gasket was smaller that is most likely the case. From memory the 5 speed auto pan gasket,and the AWD were all the same. Its been awhile though.
