Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, I wonder if you could help me, I have a V12 XJS, it starts OK and runs on all 12 cylinders but when it is hot it surges, from 750 rpm to 1400 rpm. I tuck the air filters out and the left bank is sucking well but the right bank isn't doing anything, but it still runs on all 12 cylinders.
I would be grateful if you can help.
Regards Ian.

First put the filters back. New ones. You will not solve the problem with them out and meantime if you happen to go through a dust cloud, even a very small one, anything in the air is bad news for your motor.
