Is a 68 Ranchero 500 supposed to have body side moulding and/or a stripe?

they came with both, it depended on the option package orderd.....papa knows not of what he types....

Is it just the plain 500 or is it an 500XL or GT. The GT came with it stock and depending on the engine package the XL also had it. The base 500 did not.

Just a plain 500. Marti reports only notes: air, am radio, tinted glass and deluxe wheel covers. No mention made of any trim package and if anybody has a nice set of black door panels, please let me know. It currently has Fairlane ones on it. Thank You, DC

Ok then it would not have any body sidemolding or a stripe. Those were for higher trim pakages such as the XL and the GT
