I have a 2003 Ford Taurus SES. It's been misfiring and sputtering then the engine light came on. Sometimes when I drive the light flashes. I got a tune up with the wire set and it's still sputtering.

Could be bad egr valve,but not bracket,did they check the coil?

Hello, I have a 2001 Ford Taurus Wagon and it is having some issues. It starts, however, the idle is jumpy and thr RPM's surge and it sputters and stumbles and back fires at times while driving, and sometimes the gas peddle jumps under my foot. The engine light is flashing and I smell gas when I get out of the vehicle.I have to make the repairs myself and do not have a lot of funds to toss around in the process. the idle on my 2003 ford tauras ses is all messed up. Replaced the iac and some sensor. And the alternater. It's better, but it stalls out when I'm at a red light. Gotta put it in neutral and rev the gas to prevent this. Stressfull driving. Won't pass inspection in January. Any thoughts on this? Greatly appreciated. 1 Answer
