2003 taurus. no cold air. have two hoses, have tried to use both to recharge, neither appear to work, although did last year. cans will not release gas from hoses-hooked to car or not- but will if I loosen hose where attached to can. gauge shows 27 psi, will not move up. Any comments appreciated.

Have the AC system checked by a competent professional before you damage the compressor.
