1965 falcon tranny upgrade

Hi, I have a 65 3 spd 289 looking to upgrade to a toploader four spd or compatible 5 spd.  Any help is appreciated. what will work for 5 spd? Live in MA, feel free to call 978-632-2716 if you are in area.

you can use a 4 speed in your car,but the 5 speed is not going to work,problem is the bolt pattern is not the same.

If you Have a 6 bolt Bell housing and not a 5 bolt bell housing you can update to a T5 5 spd manual transmission fairly easy, here is a link on it: http://www.fordfalcon2000.com/restoration/T5.htm
