2 speed auto torque converter nuts

Asked by summerplace Jul 06, 2011 at 07:40 PM about the 1962 Ford Falcon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Are the nuts for the torque converter flanged?  If not is there supposed to be any washers?  Is there any type spacer or plate between the tranny housing and the engine block?  The studs have shoulders and there appears to be some play with the current non-flanged nuts.
