Question type: Maintenance & Repair

this is a used car i'm repairing, 1987 buick grand national3.8l turbo. none of the coils have spark, i put in a new ignition module on the base of the coils and have power to the module. the check engine light works, but has no fault codes besides the 12 code. doing the flow chart i only get 5.1v to both the cam and crank sensors instead of the needed 6 to9 volts. what supplies this voltagetothese sensors?

THE COMPUTER CONTROLLED COIL IGNITION, CCCI, MODULE, SHOWS BOTH SENSORS, CRANK & CAMSHAFT SENSORS COMING FROM THE MODULE. CRANK HAS A DARK GREEN WIRE FOR POWER, AND A GRAY/RED WIRE FOR GROUND. (GROUNDS R VERY IMPORTANT). CAM SHOWS A GRAY/RED WIRE FOR POWER, ANA A BLACK WIRE FOR GROUND. NOTE: ALL R SOLID STATE, DONOT MEASURE RESISTANCE, (DAMAGE CAN OCCUR). YOUR IGNITION WIRE IS PINK/BLACK FROM MODULE TO ECM AND 10 AMP FUSE. AND TO MULTIPORT FUEL INJECTION, SPARK CONTROL, AND AIR FLOW SENSOR. NOW THATS GOOD TO KNOW, VERY IMPORTANT , YES ??? I SEE ONLY ONE FUSIBLE LINK TO THE ECM MEMORY. I ALSO SEE 5 FIVE WIRES FROM ECM TO IGNITION MODULE, GROUND IS BLACK/RED. POWER TO BOTH THE ECM, AND THEIGNITION MODULE COMES FROM YOUR IGNITION WIRE, THE PINK/BLACK WIRE.THE CCCI ALSO HAS A 10 AMP FUSE. HOPE THIS HELPS, ITS IN REFERANCE TO A 1987 BUICK GN, IN MY GARAGE AT HOME. GOOD LUCK, CHECK OUT THE KIRBAN PERFORMANCE.COM WEBSITE. I PURCHASED A BOOK, INFORMATION GUIDE, BY PETER HOFFMAN. GREAT BOOK, GET ONE, U WON'T REGTET IT. KEN

I have the same condition. So far my issue seems to be the crank sensor (I hope) I bench tested and checked on the car, it seemed badI checked my fuel system (glad I did) and found the check valve and regulator did not hold pressure, so resolving that issue with a new regulator and an inline check valve.
