Opel Corsa Bakkie 2003 model jerking

My opel bakkie 2003 model drives ok for few minutes then suddenly gives a
jerk, then drives for a short period,then starts jerking until it switches off. Starts
first time again, but continues jerking. Idles fine. Took for a diagnostic test,
replaced maf sensor but poblem still persists.
