Front wheels locking up?

I am posting this on behalf of someone else. They were coming home from the
theater with their kids yesterday and the ABS light came on and she managed
to get it to the side of the road and is waiting to get it towed.

She doesn't know much about cars (or myself for that matter) hence why I'm
trying to find some answers. She said it's only the two front wheels locking up
when she hits the gas but it'll let her coast.

Anyone wanna take a shot at what is the most likely culprit?

ABS is probably a wheel sensor more than likely. Get code scanned and verify. Autozone or any auto parts store will scan codes. These can send wrong signals to abs module. Also could be a faulty wheel bearing. These have reluctor rings inside that read speed of vehicle. All in one assembly or press in. Could be something as simple as cleaning off tip of sensor since it is a magnet and attracts shavings causing bad readings. Also could be wiring of the wheel sensor.

I read that your master cylinder can also be bad for it to lock up wheels on an abs system. Or a bad brake booster.
