My 1977 MGB was running fine went and put fuel in it, the high octane with no ethanol, and about a half hour later it died while at a stop sign and hasn’t ran since

Not much to go on. I doubt the problem is related to the gas you bought but check for gas at the carb and spark at the plugs.
