was the capri engine a blue colr
someone I know has a black 1980 capri. I looked under the hood and the engine was blue. I asked him if the engine had been changed and he said no..Was this what the original engines looked like??? I have never seen a blue engine before.
yes old cars the eng was paintes........blue or red or black
Not sure about the 80' Mercury Capri. But back in the day, FORD painted their 6 cylinders Red and V8 Blue. I have seen light Blue on 6(s) also. But as a FORD man all my life. If I was going to rebuild a FORD engine, it would be the Dark FORD BLUE. See photo
