I drilled out my ignition switch because I lost

starting it with a screwdriver the steering
column smoked a little bit and next my
lights quit working so i started to take off
steering wheel to repair ignition switch when
my glove box lights also then quit . Now i
have no electrical that works and no spark
to spark plugs when i try to jump startit from

So the wiring shorted out and melted, that was what the smoke was from. You will need to check the fuses and wiring and replace and repair to get it started again. I would have the truck towed to a garage so they can get it fixed properly and working again. Short cuts like drilling and screwdrivers are not a good combination in the long run.

Just replace the wires that feed to ur key lock cylinder and replace the lock cylinder and it'll work again hell u could probably just replace the lock cylinder u drilled out and it might start. O ya and check fuses.
