CAR FAILED TO START PLAYED WITH AUTOMATIC GEAR LEVER AND
PUT BACK TO PARK AND THEN IT STARTED. THIS IS  INTERMITTENTLY
NOT ALL THE TIME WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM.

Automatics have a neutral safety switch that prevents an engine from being started in any gear other than neutral or park. You might have a burned spot on the switch keeping the engine from starting. You should change the switch, it's not that difficult, and until then, start the car in neutral.
