Clean up the wire at the battery and connect them correctly Also make sure ground strap is good from body to framer then go To autozone and buy a tester for head gskt leak.easy to use and it will tell you what's going on fill the tube in the kit with chemical they give you And then open rad cap start car and suck in fumes with the tube and if it change colors in a few min.s it blown or warped head. You have been Driving it hit hope it did not crack anything take head to machine shop They can tell you what it need good luck
