I have a 77 FJ. All seems to run well. The only exception is that the smell of exhaust radiates into the cabin. I was told by the former owner that there is a header leak.

you'd hear a header leak if was that bad, check your tail pipe for too short and picking up air turbulence and coming in at rear, especially with a window cracked open

I have a 2006 Toyota Camery Hybrid, my sister i law was driving it the other day and she said it overheated while driving it, she kept driving till it died, and she continued coasting as far as she could on a mountain road, it was taken to a local gas station and parked, when I got to the car, the radiator cap was blown off , so I tried to refill the coolant , but it leeked out I looked to see ware it was coming from, it seems to be from the water pump, as well I opened the the oil cap, and the oils smells burnt and the color is dark brown? My 2006 Toyota Rav4 keys with FOB were run over. The FOB is broken, but the key still works and I have driven it. When I went to get a copy of the key, the locksmith could not make a copy of the computer chip. He mad a copy of the key that I had and that works also. Should I be concerned that at some point the key won't work or car will stop running with this key? 2 Answers

We have a 03 Corolla that had a leaky radiator. The leak started while we were on a 1400 mile trip. kept on adding coolant and finished the trip. Near the end of teh trip could hear a knocking or slapping nolise when the engine was loaded. I changed the radiator and now the engine is VERY sluggish and when under load the engine knocks/rattles/pings, what ever noise it is it is bad. I pulled the plugs and all 4 are white. I pulled the O2 sensor and it also is covered with a white coating. I think the engine is running lean and I am wondering if the coolant was sucked through the air filter and damaged the injectors or the cat. The engind never indicated getting hot during the radiator problems. Thanks for the help. 2 Answers

03 Corolla with 455,000 miles. Still runs good and uses only a very little oil. No indication of overheating but pings very badly and is very sluggish.
