Intermittant stopping

What could cause the engine to start to die, loose power, then pick up after being revved hard. But then sometimes it stops anyway . But will start again later. help. Have changed the coil pack

Could be something as simple as dirty injectors try adding fuel injector cleaner to gas tank and clean throttle body with throttle body cleaner also change fuel filter if if your vehicle has one.
