Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1973 type D overdrive in a Spitfire?

Asked by Apr 11, 2017 at 03:01 PM about the 1973 Triumph Spitfire

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

All the wires have been cut.  I purchased all new parts from Moss, but I dont
know what goes where. I have two overdrive inhibitors and a reverse lamp.
I am thinking that one inhibitor needs to be linked to the reverse lamp.

  • I have a 1975 Triumph Spitfire. It has been parked for a few years. The rear driver side drum is completely locked. 3 answers

I have tried spraying WD40, tapping it with a hammer, detaching the hand brake cable, releasing brake fluid, and lastly put a torch to it. I am not sure what to do next.
