How can I take the aftermarket DVD player out if its base holder?

I put a disc in and it started to load.
Then the screen went black. I pushed
the eject button but the movie will
not eject and the screen says no disc.

can not get the rear cd player to load. keeps saying bad disc. how do you eject it. we have no manual on it when we bought the van.
