Asked by Dec 04, 2015 at 05:12 PM about the 1983 Nissan 280ZX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Everything was working real good and one
day I was just early in the driveway and it
started to sputter all 6 spark plugs fouled
equally it has the proper fuel pressure
change the plugs still does the same thing
as a run in four months just been charging
the battery hoping somebody can fix it
Its a 1983 Datsun 280zx 5 speed

Could be a bad/plugged PCV valve, causing a buildup of crankcase pressure, if that happens it can force oil and oil vapors past the rings and valve guides into the combustion chamber, fouling your plugs, and in general making the engine run rough.
