How do u put the top down on a 65 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible.

Just bought at auction and no owners manual and not familiar with it enough and don't want to mess things up in putting the top down on the Galaxie

Your car should have a power top. Look for a button but first you will have to unlatch the top. Look for the latches at the upper corners of the windshield.

The switch for mine, 1969 Galaxie Convertible, is on the left side of the dashboard, between the door and the left of the dashboard, it is a rocker switch, up and down. As stated by R_O_R, be sure to undo the latches at the top of each side of the windscreen. Good Luck.
