Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1968 Galaxie is having starting issues. I drove it to the gas station to get
gas. I shut the engine off got gas and when I went to restart it, it just did one
click and nothing. I have dome light and dash light ,but once I turn the key
everything goes black. no dome light , no dash lights. I replaced the seeloid
on the fire wall and the starter, the battery had a 100% charge and still when
I turn the key one quick click noise and nothing. When I went back under the
hood the negative cable grounded to the block was really warm and the
positive cable from the sylenoid to the starter was really warm and the
positive cable to the battery was really warm. No idea what the issue is any
help would be greatly appreciated. I'm thing there is a bad ground
somewhere but can't find it all connections are tight. Not sure what to check
next..   HELP>>>>>>
