Left turn signal on when pressing brake.

I recently purchased a 1966 ford galaxie 500 convertible and whenever I press
the brake pedal my driver's side turn signal turns on and holds constant.
Anyone have any ideas?

Check the circuit breaker panels, that's the meeting point of those accessories. Right side in glove box back of removable cover. If contacts are burnt or melted there, power can be connected without request.
