Is it a water pump leak or something else

Asked by Aug 05, 2019 at 02:43 PM about the 2004 Ford Focus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Appear to have a leak on engine. Looks like it is coming
from whatever is attached to alternator (water pump is my
guess). It is right in front of engine but looks like it's
connected to alternator behind the big hard pipes. Sorry but
I'm really not mechanically minded. I've tried to take
pictures once engine was cold to give an idea of location.
It's a 2005 ford focus 1.6l petrol. Any advice would be
appreciated so I know what I'm suggesting when go into
garage to get rough quote to replace
