Hello,I have an 2003 Nissan Primiera. It vibrates strongly on some roads while on others she rides smoothly. There is no connection between the road quality and the vibrations. It seems that the road structure causes the car to vibrate.I'd like to get opinions as what part could have gone wrong.Thanks,Arik

It's probably a speed issue, not roads. It probably vibrates bad between 45-50 mph. My first guess is that one of your tires has a broken belt or out of balance. Or maybe your tires are just old and ready to be replaced. Try watching your speedometer and see at what speed it vibrates at. Usually if it's something mechanical, it will tend to vibrate at all speeds. I would start with the tires first.

I thought so too. I replaced all four tires. It vibrates strongly at any speed! not related to speed! any other idea?

The only time I had a severe vibration issue, it was due to a bent drive shaft. But that was on a 4X4 truck. Have you had your CV shafts inspected? If you are not the original owner, someone may have hit a curb at one time. You can jack up the front end, put it on jack stands and have someone put it in gear so you can see if one of your shafts has a wobble to it. You may have a bad motor mount or transmission mount also. I had a motor mount crack on my Camry years ago. You may want to have those checked as well. That's about the only two things I can think of that should create that much vibration. I doubt your front end is out of whack. I would imagine they would have caught that when your tires were done. But you never know.......
