Engine difference

Asked by Anthony Jan 25, 2017 at 11:07 AM about the 1977 Ford Granada

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can someone tell what the difference from
a 1977 Ford 250 cubic inch motor and a
1984/1985 ford 250 cubic inch motor. They
are straight 6 engines. I'm using another to
repair mine. I was told there was a
difference On the motor from the time
periods. The 1977 is in my Mercury
monarch/ford Granada, and the 1984/1985
is in a 1984/1985 ford fairmont.
