Will the transmission from an 03 crown vic police interceptor work in a 04?

I have a chance to pick up a 2003 crown vic pi for cheap with a blown motor but good transmission. I have an 04 myself with a good motor and a blown transmission. So I was wondering if i could make this work?

Yes it will work 2003-2006 years are same trans for p71

I have a 08 crown crown Vic....would a trans from 03 crush Vic work
