Only runing while pushing on gas what could it be

Jumps really bad at stop signs died ones
turn a corner then last note I was going 65
and it just died now it will start but only
stays started while pushing on gas

Sounds like it could be dirty/faulty idle air control valve or dirty throttle plate. Is your check engine light on?
