17 city 25 hwy. Fair to a little poor. However Ford offered a 3.0L V6 flex fuel car, for that year and engine. Going by sales figures, it lost out to the Camry in 2006 (not counting trucks, the Ford F150 and F250 pickup line was the top selling vehicle in 2005, followed very closely by the Chevy Silverado), then Honda Accord was next. The decline in sales in '05 and '06 tells me something, I don't know why but there might have been some sort of problem then. It was discontinued in 2006. That being said, it's still not a bad car.
