Question type: General

I have a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado K1500, 4X4 Suburban, with fuel injection, 5.7 liters, 8 cylinders. What is the difference between a R1500, V1500, and a K1500?

11 years late but... by brochure the V1500 is 4x4 and R1500 is 2 wheel drive. Hopefully the k1500 and V1500 platforms aren't different as I've already ordered parts for it as a k1500
