My 1998 200e has a very hard start more especialy in the morning. i have to twist the key about 8 times before it could start. i have done major service, replaced the fuel pump to no avail. Als assist

Immediately after starting, when I press the gas it simply shuts down and I have to re-start it. I then have to wait for about 3 minutes before I could move or else it will simply stall and switch off.

Please assist.

I stopped driving my 2000 E320 Mercedes Benz in Feb 2013 due to shortage in brake lights/tail lights. I have not drove the car since, it has been sitting in driveway.
