how can i stop my alarm going off all the time

i disconnected the battery on my 52 plate vts(dont ask why) when i reconnected it and opened the
drivers door the alarm went off.even kept going when i started the engine! only way it will stop is to
disconnect battery again.i dont have the alarm fob as the previous owners dog chewed it.can anyone
help please.

hook up the battery again and try unlocking the door with the key- that should stop it- make sure you are turning the key all the way . I hope this helps.

turns out to be a reset button in the middle of the dashboard.put key in ignition and turn on within 5 seconds of alarm sounding.press and hold reset button,job done
