do all ss models haft to have disc brakes in front?

ALL X BODY CARS HAVE DISK BRAKES ON THE FRONT . 1970'S THRU AND SOME 60'S CARS HAVE THEM

My 74 Nova does not have disk brakes and neither did the 73 I helped to restore a few years back. I believe front disks were standard on all nova models starting in 75.
