Transmission Part

Asked by djl64 Oct 22, 2019 at 12:57 PM about the 1984 Chevrolet El Camino

Question type: General

There is some sort of switch that is installed in side of the transmission that is wired to the a/c compressor that switches off the a/c when you need to divert all the power of the transmission for acceleration. Can anyone tell me what the name of that part is and where I can find a replacement?
